The Board of Directors of Rexit Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Rexit Software (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. ("Rexit Guangzhou") was incorporated in the People's Republic of China on 16 September 2008.
The entire registered capital of Rexit Guangzhou of RMB500,000.00 is held by the Company. The intended principal activities of Rexit Guangzhou are research and development of application software and provision of related services.
The incorporation of Rexit Guangzhou is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2009.
None of the Directors, major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, whether direct or indirect in the incorporation of Rexit Guangzhou.
