On behalf of the Company, Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as K & N Kenanga Bhd) ("Kenanga") is pleased to announce that Rexit International Sdn Bhd ("Rexit International"), its 51%-owned joint venture with Marubeni Corporation of Japan has received a letter of intent (“LOI”) from Sompo Japan Insurance Inc (“Sompo Japan”) for the implementation of Rexit’s e-Cover services.

The e-Cover services will initially cover Sompo Japan’s foreign marine business which is part of Rexit’s proposal to provide e-Cover services to Sompo Japan.

An announcement setting out the details of Rexit International's appointment will be made upon the execution of an agreement between Rexit International and Sompo Japan.

Sompo Japan is one of the largest non-life insurance companies in Japan and is located at 26-1, Nishi-Shunjuku, 1-Chome, Shinjuku-Ku, Tokyo Japan.
